Einige, etliche are at least two or three, but less than viele (= many). They are declined like an Adjektiv Typ I (stark). Examples:
Einiges Geld konnte ich ja dort verdienen. Das machte einigen Eindruck.

Einige and wenige are used the same way and mean the same. Einige is used more frequently than wenige.
